May 25th – we have been informed by Billericay Town Football Club that the building work currently underway at the ground will not be completed in time for us to hold a safe event, it is therefore with regret that we have to announce the cancellation of the 8th Billericay Beer Festival.
At all sessions – refundable souvenir glass deposit £2.00
We do allow children in (Under 15 Free of Charge), but do request parents/guardians use common sense as to regards the control and supervision of children. We request adults to ask themselves the question “Is a busy beer festival a suitable place for young children late in the evening?” Best time to bring young children is Sunday Lunchtime/Afternoon when Harry’s Day will be joining us and will have children’s’ games. There will be no children’s entertainment at other sessions and at no time should children (or anyone) be on the fenced off area of the pitch. We do reserve the right to demand that uncontrolled or annoying children leave along with their parents/guardians. We do not provide a Creche or provide a child minding service. We will ask any child to leave with their parents/guardians if we feel that there is risk to the child. Alcohol will only be served to and consumed by those who can show that they are over 18 years of age. This is strictly enforced.
(Also applies to Cats, Lions, Tigers, Ferrets, Crocodiles and any other form of pet). We allow pets in, but similar to the Children rules above, request that owners exhibit common sense again. Please keep them on leads, make sure any mess is cleaned up and that they do not cause annoyance or threat to other people or other animals. We do reserve the right that any Pet that is uncontrolled or is annoying leaves along with its owner/handler.
The Lions Club reserve the right to refuse admission, and proof of identity may be requested at the bar.
