Barrow Farm RDA Donation

Billericay Lions donated £500 to Barrow Farm RDA a charity based in Highwood, near Chelmsford who provide riding and carriage driving for the disabled. They enable people with special needs and disabilities to develop their abilities and enrich their lives through riding.

The donation will be used to help fund their annual Countryside Challenge Competition. This competition focuses on showcasing the very best of grassroots RDA riding – including movement and skills taken from Dressage, Show jumping and Endurance. The course consists of 12 elements or ‘obstacles’ for riders to navigate carefully, with different actions taking place at each point of the course.
