An Afternoon with Joanna
Joanna Eden the outstanding English jazz singer, songwriter and pianist returns to the Chantry Centre in Billericay on Wednesday, 16th July to perform “An Afternoon with Joanna”.
Accompanied by her own band of Uruguayan bass player Andrés Lafone, Uruguayan guitarist Guillermo Hill and drummer George Double.
She will be lovingly recreating Joni MItchell’s masterpieces such as Big Yellow Taxi, Woodstock and Both Sides Now along with some of her own music like Summer Breeze, Moonlight in Vermont and A Taste of Honey.
Joanna will round off the afternoon performing a mixture of Jazz at the Movies, Ella Fitzgerald and Sondheim & Me. Joanna is quite simply, the UK’s answer to Nora Jones and Dianna Krall.
