2022 Taste Night
After a two year break due to Covid, Billericay Lions were delighted to welcome guests back on Saturday 12 March for “A Taste of Germany”
During the evening, guests were served a taster menu of 4 Courses:
– Smoked salmon on rye bread
– Bratwurst Sausage with cabbage and curry mayonnaise
– Pork schnitzel with German potato salad
– Black forest gateaux
Many thanks to our new caterers for the evening, Walkers Catering (Georgia Walker assisted by her Mum and Sister)
Between each course there was a fun quiz and also a raffle with prizes loosely based on the German theme.
Proceeds from the evening have been donated to help Ukrainian refugees (see separate post).
Special guests at the evening, Mark and Les of Jeans Catering who have retired were presented with a Lions appreciation award to thank them for supporting us over the last nine Taste Nights.
