Billericay Lions

The Scout Group identified areas of asbestos-containing material in their premises and needed to
urgently remove this to continue to operate safely. They approached Billericay Lions and other local organisations to help fund the cost.

At our meeting on 9 February Billericay Lions donated £1,000 towards the £8,000 cost of removing asbestos containing material from 4th Billericay Scout’s Hut.

The hut in Laindon Road is used by 200 people, mostly children, from Billericay and the surrounding areas.
