Guardian Angel Wristbands

Micky and Minnie Mouse paid a visit today to one of our gazebos in the High Street.

Billericay Lions were pleased to be supporting Rotary’s Christmas Market.

With gazebos at each end of the High Street, our role was to hand out Lions “Guardian Angel” wristbands.

The wristbands (which are free of charge) are offered to young persons accompanied by their parents or to carers of vulnerable people. A mobile phone number is written on their wristband and they are told to speak to anyone in a yellow tabard if they get lost. They would then be taken to a central point where they would be repatriated.
