Tracy Wilkinson

Last Monday, 28th October, Billericay Lions had the pleasure of inviting Tracy Wilkinson (Community Champion at Tesco Mayflower store) to come along to our Fellowship meeting to give us a talk about her work in the community.

Tracy is involved with many different groups including the W.I. to community groups who help feed and clothe the homeless and the Human Mind Café in Billericay High Street supporting the elderly and the lonely.

Billericay Lions Club felt that Tracy was deserving of the highest recognition for her outstanding work and exceptional dedication to our local community.

Following Tracy’s fascinating talk we surprised her by presenting her with a Melvyn Jones Fellowship Award in recognition for all her Humanitarian efforts over the past 11 years.

The Melvyn Jones Fellowship Award
Lions Clubs International recognises outstanding individuals by bestowing on them an award that is named after its founder, Melvin Jones. This Fellowship Award is the highest form of recognition and embodies humanitarian ideas consistent with the nature and purpose of Lionism.
