2021 Christmas Sleigh

Many thanks from Billericay Lions for the wonderful response from Billericay residents to our 2021 Sleigh Collection.

After last year’s Covid restrictions we were so pleased to be able to bring the spirit of Christmas to the streets of Billericay.

Our sleigh gps online tracking introduced last year was clearly a great success as on nearly every street, large numbers of adults and children were waiting to enthusiastically greet our Sleigh and Santa.

During 10 evening door to door street collections and 2 Waitrose statics, donations exceeded £9,800 nearly £700 more than the previous record in 2019.

Your generosity towards our local charity work in 2022 is much appreciated.

Our sleigh collection would not be possible without the help we received from family, friends and other volunteers. Also Essex Ford who provided the decorated tow car for the 11th year, Lincon Batteries who provide the batteries to power the sleigh and Waitrose who allowed us to collect during two statics.
