Barrow Farm RDA Donation
On Monday 2nd February we invited all our sleigh helpers for a buffet and thank you evening at The Railway pub, Billericay.
During our sleigh collection, one evening volunteers from Barrow Farm filled the role of collectors. In return Billericay Lions proposed donating the proceeds from that evening to Barrow Farm. The donations that night raised over £700.
Two of our guests from Barrow Farm, Mel and Janet joined our thank you evening. As it is the 50th anniversary of Barrow Farm Billericay Lions increased the donation to £1,000.
Mel and Janet were visibly moved and extremely grateful for this donation of the £1,000.
Since 1976 Barrow Farm have been enabling people with special needs and disabilities to develop their abilities and enrich their lives through riding.
