Body Warmers

Billericay Lions have supported the good works that Billericay Food Bank has carried for several years in reaching out into the community to provide additional support where needed to ease the burden of people struggling in these difficult times.

During December, the Lion’s Community Services Team contacted the Food Bank to see if we could be of any assistance to support their activities.    

The Food Bank mentioned that the Hub was extremely cold during the winter months because the central heating system was insufficient and that that it would really great if the Lions could fund some Body Warmers. 

Accordingly Billericay Lions donated £200 for Body Warmers for the Staff who work at Billericay Food Bank.     

Billericay Lions are proud to support the Billericay Food Bank in bringing hope where there is often despair.
